REGISTRATION OF VEHICLES

For Registration of the vehicle one has to apply to the Registering Authority with in seven days of purchase along with the following documents:  
1.   Application in form-20. 
2.   Sale certificate in form-21. 
3.   Form 22 supplied by Dealer. 
4.   Valid insurance certificate. 
5.   Proof of Address. 
6.   Temporary registration, if any. 
7.   Form-A under Taxation Act, 1997. 
8.   Fees Specified in Rule 81. 
9.   Passport size photograph. 
10.  In case of imported vehicle, Custom clearance certificate along with the license and bond.
11. Physical production of vehicle

FOR RENEWAL OF RC

The application has to be submitted along with the following documents:

1. Form 25
2. Registration certificate
3. Insurance certificate
4. Pollution Under Control Certificate
5. Fees payment receipt
6. Proof of address
7. Physical production of vehicle

FOR DUPLICATE OF RC

The application has to be submitted along with the following documents:

1. Form 26
2. Insurance certificate
3. Fees payment receipt
4. Copy of FIR
5. Affidavit stating that RC is lost and has not been impounded

TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP:

For transfer of the ownership of Motor vehicle, the following documents are required:

1.   Form 29 and 30 
2..  Registration certificate. 
3.   Insurance Certificate 
4.   N.O.C. of the vehicle, if registered out side U.P. 
5.   Fees as specified Rule-81. 
6.   Passport size photograph of Purchaser & seller. 
7.   Tax clearance certificate.

  • Transfer of ownership in case of death one has to apply with following documents.

1.   Form 31. 
2.   Death certificate in relation to the registered owner. 
3.   Certificate of the registration and the insurance. 
4.   Proof of succession. 
5.   Passport size photo.

  • For vehicle purchased in public auction, one has to apply with the following documents

1.   Form 32. 
2.   Certificate of Registration and Insurance. 
3.   Certificate of order confirming the sale of vehicle in his favour by the person authorised to conduct the auction. 
4.   Certified copy of the order of the Government authorising the auction of the vehicle. 
5.   Fees specified in Rule-81. 
6.   Passport size photo of purchaser.

DRIVING LICENCE: 

  • For Learner License one has to apply before the Licensing Authority along with the following documents:

1.   Application in Form No.2. 
2.   Medical Certificate in Form No. 1-A. 
3.   Three copies of Passport photographs. 
4.   Fees specified rule-81. 
5.   Proof of age & address.

  • For permanent Driving License one has to apply before the Licensing Authority along with the following documents:

1.   Application in Form No. 4. 
2.   Learner License. 
3.   Three copies of passport photographs. 
4.   Driving Certificate in form-5 issued by approved Training School (Compulsory for    Transport Vehicle License) 
5.   Fees as specified in Rule-81.

  • For the renewal of Driving License one has to apply to the Licensing Authority along with the following documents:

1.   Application in Form.9. 
2.   Permanent Driving License. 
3.   Medical Certificate in Form 1-A. 
4.   Three copies of passport photographs. 
5.   Fees as specified in rule-81.

  • For the issue of International Driving Permit, one has to apply to the original Licensing Authority with the following documents:

1. Application in Form 4A
2. Requisite fees
3. Original Driving License
4. Copy of Passport
5. Copy of valid visa
6. Copy of valid tickets
7. Three photographs

  • FOR GRANT OF NO-OBJECTION CERTIFICATE TO TRANSFER VEHICLE

For grant of NOC, one has to apply along with the following documents:
1. Form 28 in triplicate with chassis impression 
2. Registration Certificate
3. Insurance certificate

  • FOR CHANGE OF ADDRESS IN REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE (RC)

The application has to be submitted along with the following documents:
1. Form 33
2. Registration certificate
3. Insurance certificate
4. Pollution Under Control Certificate
5. Fees payment receipt
6. Proof of address
